Located at the southern tip of the Isle of Wight is Chale Abbey Studios, one of the best-equipped recording spaces in the south of England. Nestled on the downs just two minutes from the coast, this residential facility, which was recently completed, has already been involved with recording a number of projects including Michael Kiwanuka’s number one album "Love & Hate" and Bernhoft’s Grammy nominated album "Islander".
In the grounds of one of the oldest domestic buildings on the Isle of Wight, the studio is built within a large stone barn dating back to the 16th century. With acoustic design from White Mark Ltd, a purpose built, state of the art control room and smaller live room have been seamlessly integrated with the stunning live space. The on-site accommodation includes a large kitchen/dining space, lounge and bedrooms to sleep up to five. Contemporary fixtures complement the buildings historic charm and make this a warm and homely environment while you stay.
